Take some time each day to set some goals for yourself. They might be short term goals that you can accomplish that same day. Maybe they’re long term goals that will take you years to achieve or maybe they’re somewhere in the middle and you can achieve them within a week or so.

It may not seem like it has anything to do with your self-esteem, but helping others can actually make you feel better about yourself. Maybe it has something to do with other people who are less fortunate than you getting the help they need.

Maybe it’s about feeling like a good person for helping someone else, but whatever it is, you can definitely improve your own self-image by helping other people (plus, you’re helping other people so that’s a great start).

Be Positive With Yourself

Each time you find yourself thinking a negative thought about yourself, make sure you turn it around. Change that negative thought into something positive that you can think about yourself instead. You’ll feel a whole lot better and you’ll start to internalize those thoughts and feelings as well.

Before you know it, you’ll automatically be replacing negative thoughts without even thinking about it first, or possibly not even thinking those negative things at all.
